Well, today was supposed to be the day I started the major editing work on the ambush project, but I got sidetracked by learning that my friend is being waked tomorrow in a place I cannot get to for several reasons, not the least among which are distance and finances. But I've been invited to submit a reflection that will be shared at the service, so I wrote that instead. And then I had to go for a long walk to get out of my own head, so...

Anyway, I'm counting my tribute to my friend as the day's words.

19th: Added a few lines/tweaks to my flashfic and re-sent it to beta, and made a fannish poll (I'm not sure this counts as writing, but it counts as a fanwork). Now I have to figure out what I'm working on next -- another prompt fic? my WIP? (It really should be my WIP!)

I somehow failed at time management yesterday, so when I finally got to writing, I was too tired for more than a few more sentences to one of my fanfics in progress. Except after that I also wrote a poem in my notebook.

I did go to the library to find new research books I still need (or "need") for my novel, so that's something!
