I wrote a 253-word satire on a gospel story for a situation that's unfolding at work (which is a religious-affiliated institution). I don't know if anyone will ever see it, but it's cathartic, for sure. ;-)

I was supposed to write just a few sentences, but I ended up writing a few hundred words instead, finishing the little fluffy fic I've been writing lately. I guess I needed fluff!

Did some drafting on one thing, and some planning for another. I keep eyeing Camp Nano sadly because I really want to work on my novel, but so far I barely have time for fic things with deadlines :/

Yeah, I've been in that boat last year, so for 2019 I had to make the resolution not to sign up for any more fannish stuff. I miss all the fic exchanges etc, but I need to do this. In an ideal world, I could manage both.

I shook loose some words from the tree today to flesh out something I had written earlier and needed some extra detailing, as well as a few more words on a long assignment that I think I have the shape of, but not necessarily the details of.

Keep working on those details, I'm sure they will come to you.

I did more organizing -- spent some time going through old brainstorming docs, combining them into one doc, adding a few new ideas, deleting repetitious stuff and ideas I'm not going to use, and working on turning it into a more orderly list. It's not an outline, exactly, but it's as close to one as I get!
