I've managed another 1,100 words today. Hoping I can keep this up all week and all month, my Camp goal is very attainable if so. Being realistic, I will probably burn out, slow down and/or flounder around, though. :P

[nice work on getting past 1K! not having work today, i was writing on and off between 1-9am and managed 1.2K in 100 word pieces, and it got me thinking about 'drabble' as a definition. i'll probably throw out some words about that later ]

[for now, gotta get to the shops before they all close, can't keep writing and cleaning without fuel ]

[still meeting people on dw, but every person who's used a keyboard can always get together and bond over the feast-or-famine of the writer's experience ]

[if i get something written on 'drabbles' i'll probably link it in day three's checkin, and maybe on the final check in i'll chase down my general blogging wordcount for the month for a bonus to the total ]

That's a great total! I made myself giggle on the tube this morning because of something I was writing - hopefully other people will find it funny too, not just me :D

1117 words today.

I did some research reading and various character notes for my novel.

Impressive word count for you for the day, congrats!

I was out of the house until 9pm today, and I came back dead tired, so all I wrote was an alibi sentence. Still something, though.

Look at you go with all those words! Wooo-hooo!

Today, the fish bit only after I baited the hook with words picked at random from The Vampire: His Kith and Kin, by Montague Summers. (I grabbed it off a nearby shelf.) That led to a little SGA fanfic (424 words).

I have no idea where the fuck this is going but I've spent 2700 words so far to get there

That's a great word count! *\o/*

For me, for the 3rd, just an alibi sentence. My WIP is getting bogged down in "I have no idea how to get out of this mess I've made." I might take a break and write a flashfic tomorrow...

Good word count!

I'm er, herding fish? ;-) I spent some time rearranging files in Scrivener, moving various bits into a better story flow (I hope. Yeesh). The only word count change I made was negative: I deleted stuff here and there. Including some old brainstorming. *coff*

Yay for your writing achievement! I keep my fingers crossed this works out for you. I found it relatively easy to make the daily word count during the main NaNo, in the last two years even mostly my self-set goal of 2k, but also really only then, and not on a second month in the year. *g*
Yesterday went really well. Instead of editing the mentioned drawer fic I stared a new part of it and wrote nearly 1k for it.
(You might want to check your code; the line of the tally doesn't break so only the first nine (in my case) user names can be read.)

Your entry for day 3 is fine, so I think you can just ignore this entry. Do you do spaces after the commas? I know that I do, but I don't know if that makes a difference - would also depend if you're writing it in code in the html window (or an external text editor like I'm doing it) or in the rich text window.
