Today was emotionally rough for me, and it affected my writing. I had a bit of a freakout over the novel project, eventually managed 300 words of brainstorming for it, then swerved back to prompts again for the rest of my 1k. That resulted in another two new story ideas. I really need to figure out how to let go and have fun with the novel the same way I do with short prompts. But I'm just really blooming intimidated by it. What I might do tomorrow is start with the prompts as a warm-up and then try the scary thing.
Anyway, that's me. How was your day 5?

Date: 2019-04-05 11:14 pm (UTC)[aside from that, it's been a silly day here with two two hour naps, work and spidery shenanigans, so today's wordcount is 450 over two different things ]

Date: 2019-04-06 05:42 am (UTC)Another paragraph for me. This scene would be so much easier if I could just figure out where the exposition belongs, grr.

Date: 2019-04-06 05:14 pm (UTC)Dear pesky exposition, find yourself a position already!
Congrats on the paragraph, I hope things slot into place soon.

Date: 2019-04-06 06:31 am (UTC)*cheers on the scary thing*
For me (6th), I wrote 126 words on a random different ficlet. ZERO FOCUS, but some words, at least.
