Congrats on persevering despite not feeling it! I'm always in awe of everyone who actually pulls off the every day part of this challenge, or at least does so more often than I do. It's much more of a write more often situation with plenty of stop and start for me.

Drafted a few thousand words of a spontaneous thing start to finish today, and now I'm settling in to edit a few different fics and hope the motivation holds out to get them all done at once. Fingers crossed!

[further congrats on doing the thing. i really want to do some editing but i just know if i do any i'll stop adding to the draft. i wrote 650 in planning notes (having intro'd a couple of characters the day before making them up as i went along) and getting 600 words of prose after that was surprisingly difficult. so i'm including the notes into the tally for the first time. 1.2k ]

*sympathies* for the writing, and congrats for writing even so! I hope it's different tomorrow.
My tally for yesterday is an uncounted bunch of words of something, in between major fic re-organising and fanfic archiving going on, continuing today, too. I also started a new scapple for a former drawing fic I'm going to revamp into a to-be-published fanfic while making use of whumptober and B2MeM prompts, and am now collecting prompts, ideas, scene snippets from yesterday and today, and seeing how they fit onto my background skeletion which was inspired by a major music piece. Not too many new words, but a cornucopia of ideas and inspiration. ^^

I wrote 820 words and sort of finished the first draft of the cute fluffy genfic I've been writing recently. Needing to distract myself from politics (my country had a parliamentary election, and the results are... mixed) served some creative purpose, at least.

Some days are like that for sure. I'm having one, too. I added 119 to the epic poem I'm not writing.

15th: 640 words on something that might be an exchange assignment (except that would be ridiculous; assignments only went out today! but maybe, if I can figure out where it goes next?), and a little more on my flashfic.

I'm dropping my prednisone again tomorrow, so I have no idea what that'll do but it's quite possible it will shut off the firehose of words I've been enjoying over the last week and a half. :-/ (Otoh, less steroids = always a good thing!)

This evening I wrote more words than I had the entire month of April up to this point. Ahhhh, it was a good thing!

I didn't want to write either... I poked at the novel, and added a few things to the Not An Outline, then started brainstorming and then stopped, because ugh, more brainstorming. So I made myself cast it as a scene instead. It's kinda stilted, but at least it's an actual scene.
