[nice work, i managed to make my 1k target too. adding to that another 500 means my overall tally has no deficit. this chapter is still somewhat out of control (how are we not at the end already??) but at least it has some forward motion again. perhaps being back at work today triggered some urgency circuit that was flatlining this week ]

I FINALLY got it together and started re-reading and editing the ambush project. I finished chapter one, which I'm counting as 400 words (a general total, not the actual number of words added, deleted, or moved).

20th: Edited and posted a flashfic/promptfic. (Honestly, one of these days I will open my longfic WIP and ADD WORDS TO IT, instead of rolling around in promptfic like a puppy with unmedicated ADHD.) (Also, I have an exchange fic to write/finish. *must not get complacent about deadlines*)

ETA: I think I forgot to check in for Day 17, but I did write.

I've been writing, but have been kind of run ragged and keep forgetting I haven't checked in until I'm in bed or at the grocery store or something!

Alibi sentences for today and yesterday. For the 17th, I wrote 310 words, including some in my sleep! I was up late, after a physically hard day, and half-watching the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. I watched the opening bit, then went back to writing, then... fell asleep. It can't have been for long, since when I woke up the Late Show was still on -- and so was my laptop screen, where the stuff I was writing ended with several perfectly typed but nonsensical sentences. I don't remember writing them -- much less why! I've never had that happen before. Writing in my sleep, sheesh!
