Hey, author! Thanks for gifting me with a story. It is very cool that we have small fandom(s) is common. I will be so grateful for whatever you come up with. This is my first time taking part in Yuletide.

- PWP (Normally I love smut, but not for this fest. I want to be able to read the fic when it's revealed on Xmas morning and then go face my family without porn on the brain!) UST and/or kissing is fine.
- Character Death (unless it's temporary, or supernatural zombie undeath)
- Non-canon AUs (it's easier to stick to canon universes, you've only got 1000 words)

Big Eden (Henry Hart, Pike Dexter)

This film makes me really happy. I'm so glad it exists.

Pike/Henry prompts:
- More Pike backstory, either through dialogue (telling Henry about his life) or flashbacks which tie into the present
- Something about Pike's shyness / aversion to meeting new people in the early parts of the film, and how loving Henry gives him a reason to build various new friendships.
- More courtship through paintings!
- Did Pike come out to his family? Maybe there's some comfort there for Henry about not telling Sam if he's not the only one.
- Stargazing, blankets, snuggling for warmth, maybe a roadtrip?
- Henry interacting with Frances, both of them taking her for walks
- Expand on the line "do you remember me from high school? I remember you."
- We don't get to see Henry's full reaction to Widow Thayer admitting it was Pike's plate. How does he come to the decision to change his mind about New York and get Jim to send Pike to the airport? 



Dollhouse (Any)

I started watching this show very recently because I love Amy Acker and because the premise is awesome. At the time of writing this letter I've seen upto 2x03. I will have watched all the episodes by Christmas. I love that the show explores the morality of this technology, the risks and problems and emotional resolutions. Write whatever you like within this canon, the two prompts below are optional.

Whiskey (Claire) / Echo - link to gifset on Tumblr. Tell me what's going on in this random flashback we got in 2x01? Maybe it gets explained in one of the episodes I haven't seen, maybe it's just shipper bait. Either way, I want a fic which explores the context. It looks like they both ditch their clients in order to dance together. Why, how, what?

Topher & Adelle - I was struck by the almost mother & son relationship these two had in Epitaph One (1x13). So desperate and broken and painful. It's such a contrast to Echoes (1x07) where they are drugged and bounce around Topher's workspace together. Both completely unexpected but quite lovely. I'd welcome any story that deals with their rocky working relationship and how that develops into a kind of found family. This needn't happen in chronological order.



iZombie (Any) | Spoilers in this section upto Season 3

I find the light-hearted way this show handles death oddly reassuring. I like that it takes place pre- rather than post-apocalypse. I ship EVERYONE, which is why I've left the character field open. If I don't list your favourite pairing here, please write it anyway. I am fully prepared to be convinced on any and all ships.

F/M ships
Liv/Major - whyyy do these two keep missing each other? Major switches between human and zombie so often my head hurts. It would be really nice if they could just both be zombies at the same time and choose to fight for their relationship. They have too many cute moments.

Liv/Lowell - Just give me moar of thissssssss. More sexy sweetness before Liv discovers the source of his brains. Or an AU where he lives.

Peyton/Blaine - Blaine deliberately gave her up even though he didn't have to! He really loves her, okay.

Peyton/Ravi - It was pretty cute that Ravi leapt to her defence and insisted that her character live when they played Dungeons and Dragons in 3x09. Does Peyton acknowledge this display of chivalry or continue to ignore it? Missing scene fic, maybe. 


F/F ships
Liv/Peyton
1) THAT LAP DANCING SCENE. Goodness gracious. Give me an alternate version where Peyton doesn't sit there like an awkward block of wood. Loosen up and enjoy it, girl!
2) Anything where they snuggle up and watch movies together? Simple comfort that maybe turns to kissing.
3) Anything with dominatrix Peyton from 3x10 (non-sexual d/s kink maybe?)
4) Peyton to Liv: "People look at you and all they see is gorgeous." (3x12)

Liv/Rita - what if 'Gilda' seduced Liv the same way she seduced Major? That time when they were roommates was full of early morning conversations in pyjamas.

M/M ships
Ravi/Major
1) Tell me more about the tear-stained letter Major wrote to Ravi in 3x06 when he thought he was going to lose his memory.
2) Give me any kind of hurt/comfort between these guys. I constantly feel like Major's life would be so much easier if he just spoke to Ravi more often. Trusted him with his problems and his feelings.
3) They deliberately flirt and cultivate a bromance, how honest is this? Are they being shy?

Clive/Ravi - Ravi perfects the cure, Clive helps him decide who to give it to. If they spend more time together they might realize how similar they are. I feel like Ravi and Clive are the loneliest people on the show.



Mansfield Park - Jane Austen (Fanny Price, Mary Crawford)

I really feel that this book could have used a more satisfying romance. I'm looking for a fic to bridge the gap between what's on the page and what I'd like there to be.

Fanny/Mary
Is there a way we can make this pairing work? The most obvious opening for me is the necklace. What if the necklace had been a gift from Mary herself, not on behalf of Henry? What if Fanny wished Edmund weren't attached to Mary because she was in love with Mary? I feel that Mary really matures over the course of the book - she's selfish at the start but she has settled down by the end. Is it possible she finds herself wanting to be more reliable and respectable, like Fanny? Or, is it possible to loosen Fanny up enough to see the merit in Mary's more worldly approach? Could something happen between them in that scene where Fanny takes the male part (Anhalt?) while privately rehearsing with Mary for the Lovers' Vows play, with no interruption from Edmund? Could they spend more time together, talk about horses, go riding together? They're not going to elope, given the mess that causes in this universe, but mutual pining and perhaps coded love letters would be amaaaazing.

Fanny & Mary
If the femslash is too much of a leap, some friendship fic would be great. I'm thinking a while after the end of the book. So long as Henry stays far away from them, I don't see why Fanny & Edmund might not visit the residence of Mary & her husband and get along reasonably well. I'd like to think that...not everything is forgiven...but the friendship they had started to cultivate (before Henry ruined everything) might survive the test of time. Also, now that Fanny is married, her mother gave her Pug's puppies, right? Bonus points if you include a dog or puppy in the fic. :D



Shawshank Redemption (Andy Dufresne, Ellis 'Red' Redding)

I teared up at the ending to this film. I could easily read more about their lives as free men. Friendship or slash is up to you. Just nothing explicit, please.

Some prompts:
- A Warm Place With No Memory: One or both of them has nightmares about being back in Shawshank? Comforting hugs when they wake up and learn to accept they're safe now.
- Playing chess, making up cover stories so their boat customers don't figure out where they've really come from
- Enjoying Mexican cuisine now they don't have to deal with prison grub. Who turns out to be the better cook?
- Getting to know each other more and more, are there any pieces of backstory we don't yet know about?
- Does Andy continue to find pretty rocks or shells and give them to Red?
