Now that was BRILLIANT.
There was lots of lovely Gwen/Ianto banter, which makes me very happy, but not much shippy stuff for Jack/Gwen or Jack/Ianto again. I wasn't sure what to make of Jack's snapped out "Assistant" line either.
I know lots of people found her annoying, but I really liked the Duchess. She was hilarious. And a typical villain too. Just enough insanity, just enough cunning.
Wasn't sure about the ending though. How did Jack manage to get Gwen and Ianto out of the net thing without rescuing all the other people as well? Seems like the writers set up a scenario and then didn't know how to get out of it again.
Overall, I liked this better than yesterday's. It was a lot more exciting. And it was fun for Jack not to be the only fixed point in time anymore.
