Merlin 3x03

Oh, come on, Merlin. You were doing so well with all the slashy goodness and then you gotta go make the het all overt again?! Not that I have a ship bias, or anything. 

That said, Richard Wilson is comedy gold (Sorry. :P). Clearly this show is determined not to take itself too seriously. I like the long sequence at the beginning with just Merlin on his own, gave me a chance to fall in love with his cheekbones him again. And Colin did a fantastic job considering he was acting to thin air.

Arthur with his donkey ears. Oh dear. On the one hand I think he's really cute, on the other, annoying. In any case, there needs to be fic of Merlin having to fix him without letting him know he's using magic.

Arthur looked so sad when Merlin got locked up. And he believed him and proved it for himself! Well done Arthur. You're being less of an obtuse git than you've been in previous series. But I'm sure next week we'll be back to Arthur being an arrogant twat again. Yay, characterization! :P

I've just got to say that you have brilliant taste in TV. I am ashamed to admit I used to stalk you during the days of A2A series 3, and read your LoM fic and everything, and now I see you like Merlin and Sherlock too! *high fives*

I LOVED Richard Wilson in this. I mean, I love him on principle - that voice! - but he was brilliant here. And Merlin/Arthur... yeah, the het stuff makes me sad too. Series 1 was so much more happy and slashy.

Now I must go and watch e4 and 5 :) Btw, do you know how many eps we're getting this series?

Isn't he just brilliant? I really need to find time to watch more of One Foot In The Grave, I love him so much in the eps I've found so far on Youtube.

When I first started watching Merlin, I called it something along the lines of 'my happy slashy comfort telly show'. XD Which is a bit ironic, considering the angst fest it turned into for much of S2. I basically just want lots of slashy hurt/comfort and banter from it. Which the most recent episode provided quite well, I thought. :)

As far as I'm aware, we'll be getting 13 eps, same as the previous two series. If not, I shall cry.

Livejournal is probably the only place you don't have to be ashamed of stalking! But yes, I loved reading your reactions once I'd watched the latest eps because they usually tallied pretty well with what I was thinking.

Telly is such a time-waster but I can't look away! I've just got Broadband and the day has shortened considerably. I'm on YouTube the whole time, mainly marathoning all the old Merlin eps.

Gosh, yes, the last Merlin ep! Phew, pretty much a Merlin/Arthur fic. I just wish Arthur would find out Merlin's secret already. The whole 'Arthur sleeps on while some srs magical shit goes on over his head' plot twist is getting rather stale.

Yay, 13 eps! I was hoping for that, but the BBC website didn't seem to go any further than episode 7, which scared me a little. :)
