FlashForward 1x11 and 1x12
Mar. 22nd, 2010 11:16 pm*is more than impressed*
The story is moving on apace now, is it not? Feels like we're getting answers but there's also a sense of 'tip of the iceberg' going on. I've gotta say, if Torchwood was ever this well plotted...
Simon is now looking a much more interesting character than he did before. Mark has made some advances too. Not much Demetri in these eps but I assume that's coming up soon. Bryce and Nicole are really brilliant but religious guy creeps me out. Seeing how good Olivia is with Dylan is very telling. Interesting to see how that one pans out. Janis is still my favourite character, especially with how she kept catching up with Simon and being generally bad ass. Although the whole bumping into the guys in masks thing in the kitchen was a bit disappointing after the fact. They're still keeping Lloyd very much in the dark, aren't they? From the start Simon's obviously seemed the more likely bad guy of the two, but Lloyd...I have no idea what to make of him. He seems good, but his role in all this is perplexing me. Simon goes to his dad's funeral and just leaves the whole experiment to someone not nearly as clever as him? Leaves Lloyd to push the button on it when he's just said to Janis he's a control freak?
So glad this show's back. It's on fine form, as ever!
