Day 01
In your own space, talk about why you are doing the Fandom Snowflake Challenge? What drew you to it as a participant? What do you hope to accomplish by doing these challenges?
I dipped my toes in the water last year, having watched some of my friends play for a couple of years prior to that. I only kept it up for the first week or so, but it was a very positive experience all round, getting to read what other people feel about fandom as well as receiving help and motivation for creative projects. This year I hope to respond to more if not all of the challenges, with the aid of Habitica, which has been changing my life for the better in tiny ways for several months now. I just made a checklist To-Do for the Snowflake Challenge. Also, I miss LiveJournal. Moodthemes! 100x100px icons! You don't get those on tumblr. Let us see each other more, LJ.

Date: 2016-01-01 01:56 pm (UTC)There's a dedicated Wiki here which I use a lot to learn the game, not that it's difficult, but it helps me make decisions on the way I wanna play and I don't mind spoilers. If you're motivated by not knowing what'll happen once you reach a certain level, don't delve too deep into the Wiki, but it'll give you a great overview. :)
