Today was yet another day of adulting--ugh!--and one of my responsibilities was to answer interview questions. A former student is writing a college research essay about approaches to writing instruction, and he asked me if I'd be willing to answer a series of questions about how I approach writing instruction as a high school English teacher. I got really into my answers and had a great time thinking about his questions, too, so I'm counting my answers (1135 words) as my day's writing.
