Well, today was supposed to be the day I started the major editing work on the ambush project, but I got sidetracked by learning that my friend is being waked tomorrow in a place I cannot get to for several reasons, not the least among which are distance and finances. But I've been invited to submit a reflection that will be shared at the service, so I wrote that instead. And then I had to go for a long walk to get out of my own head, so...
